Is the Smart Board Smart Enough?
The danger of the past was that men had become slaves and the danger of the future is that men may become robots.

Its true .Today when it has become difficult to survive with the cut throat competition, one needs to make his/her brain work at the speed of 10 different things per second. I am not exaggerating!

What’s the end result? The present generation has sleepless nights. Things like chemical bonding, financial ratios etc., are bothering them 24*7.

We don’t feel like opening their books again and again. But is their anyway out? How can they register all these things to do? The answer my friend is blowing in the wind…
The smart board has surely helped students and teachers communicate well. Its animations help store almost everything in the 1.4kg CPU of our body. What are the differences between the pictures in the book and the animation on the smart board? Can you see your blood circulating; can you see the process of breathing? You know, you can’t do without the smart board. Even the computer doesn’t help because to view a presentation all of us topple over each other like skittles. After all our comfort is equally important! The book worms may find it a waste of time, but somewhere deep in their hearts they too must be agreeing with the fact that it helps them a great deal. Maybe for subjects like Maths it may not be of much use but everything has its pros and cons, doesn’t forget nobody’s perfect unless you are nobody!

Once you understand the concept with the help of our smart board it’s easier for us to finish the bulky syllabus in time. Most importantly it develops the interests of kids in studies. It is also a platform to initiate confidence in the bashful ones.

Conducting presentations before fellow mates makes one feel “I can do it. My smart friend’s there with me.” The classes are no more monotonous, no one feels like discussing about XYZ issue when the SMART BOARD is taking.

It’s non-living but talks.

It makes our academic better when it’s on the rocks.

It’s the smart board.

This makes one walk down syllabus difficult road.

It’s the smartest.

And makes you better than the BEST!

Big-M Method and Two-Phase Method

Big-M Method The Big-M method of handling instances with artificial  variables is the “commonsense approach”. Essentially, the notion is to make the artificial variables, through their coefficients in the objective function, so costly or unprofitable that any feasible solution to the real problem would be preferred, unless the original instance possessed no feasible solutions at all. But this means that we need to assign, in the objective function, coefficients to the artificial variables that are either very small (maximization problem) or very large (minimization problem); whatever this value,let us call it Big M . In fact, this notion is an old trick in optimization in general; we  simply associate a penalty value with variables that we do not want to be part of an ultimate solution(unless such an outcome is unavoidable).
